Here’s a sneak peek at the stars of the Chicago company of Jersey Boys and their new BFF, Oprah Winfrey. The guys will be featured on a special “back to the '60s” episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show airing September 21. In addition to a performance from the Tony-winning smash hit musical, the queen of daytime TV will welcome unspecified stars of Mad Men (Jon Hamm, please!) to a groovy '60s-theme set and reveal her favorite things from the decade. The studio audience will be decked out in '60s costumes.
Performing for Oprah will be Four Seasons Michael Cunio (Tommy DeVito), Michael Ingersoll (Nick Massi), Dominic Scaglione, Jr. (Frankie Valli) and Shonn Wiley (Bob Gaudio). The show’s Chicago production opened in October 2007 and is scheduled to continue at the Bank of America Theatre through January 10, 2010. There are seven current productions of Jersey Boys: New York, London, Chicago, Las Vegas, Toronto, a U.S. national tour and Melbourne, Australia.
